Company history

2018 Established JV PMT SAITO with PMT in Malaysia with the aim of expanding sales at Southeast Asian palm oil plant.
2015 Established an agent in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Established an agent in Mumbai, India.
2013 Integrate Osaka office into Head office.
2011 Introduced ADS-Series larger machine (ADS-20000).
2010 Started sales of high efficiency screw-decanter.
2007 Developed large model types of decanter (SKD-650).
Developed GMP ADS series for pharmaceutical field.
Moved factory from Yokohama to Showa-jima.
2005 Established a maintenance service company (3S Engineering) in Bangkok, Thailand.
2003 Established an agent in Seoul, Korea.
1998 Merged manufacturer of decanter and started making and selling decanters. Expanded sales channel for new models.
1995 Mitsuo Saito became the 3rd President. Factory moved to Yokohama.

1987 Merged manufacturer of pneumatic dryer. Started making and selling cyclone dryers. Established branch office in Osaka.
1979 Developed palm oil nozzle sludge separator. Established an agent in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
1978 Established an agent in Taipei, Taiwan.
1976 Established an agent in Bangkok, Thailand to widen marketing in Southeast Asia.
1965 Developed the first automatic sludge-ejecting machine in Japan.
1961 Developed starch-washing centrifuge. Obtained patent for the utility model.
1955 Developed starch-refining & concentrating centrifuge.
1951 Kunio Saito, the Founder, passed away. Makoto Saito inherited and became the 2nd President. Restarted sales and manufacture of marine oil separators.
1950 Developed oil refining acid sludge separator.
1949 Developed high concentration yeast separator.
1941 Company renamed as “Saito Separator Limited”. Established the 1st factory and head office at present address. Offices opened in Osaka, Chiayi, and Taiwan.
Foundry established in Rokugo, Ohta-ku. Steel work factory established in Oi, Shinagawa-ku.
1937 Developed yeast separator (nozzle separator) and obtained a patent.
1936 Developed three-phase separator (nozzle sludge separator) and obtained a patent.
1934 Developed the first disc bowl centrifuge in Japan under the company name, Japan Centrifuge Laboratory Obtained multiple patents.
1926 Kunio Saito, the founder, began studies on the centrifuge.
