Selecting centrifugal separators
In order to effectively separate two liquids (liquid - liquid), very high centrifugal power is required and applicable centrifugal separators are limited to disk or cylinder type. However, the liquid to be treated in this case contains solid contents; that is, it requires 3-phase separation (liquid - liquid - solid) and cylinder-type centrifugal separators are not applicable to liquid containing solid contents.
Saito ADS allows continuous treating of liquid of a certain volume, and sanitary and automatic cleaning (CIP cleaning) for wetted parts is performed because of its sanitary design for food and pharmaceutical industries. There is no choice other than disk centrifugal separators of valve discharging type (Saito ADS) that meet the specifications described above.
